"Chaithanya Mahila Mandali delivers several important services to the society."

Ever since  the organization has been founded in the year 2001 we give women and children a voice and help them to change their lives for the better.

CMM has been a role model in the Indian society, especially for other organizations which are socially commited. Nowadays people are more sensitive about the heavy burdens of  forced sex workers and are aware of the major implications of human trafficking.

The problem of sex work:

Parents with poor and uneducated backgrounds living in the rural and costal regions of India fall in the trap of entrusting a middleman with their children. They are promised an education and a better life for their children in the big city. These middlemen then force the children to work in brothels, many of them end up being infected by HIV. Poverty, a lack of awareness and a closed system make the human trade possible.
